The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is the sixth film in the Hunger Games franchise and adapts Suzanne Collins’ 2025 novel of the same name. Set 24 years before the original Hunger Games, the story follows a young Haymitch Abernathy as he is selected for the 50th Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell. Joseph Zada stars as young Haymitch, with Ralph Fiennes, Elle Fanning, Kieran Culkin, Jesse Plemons, Mckenna Grace and Glenn Close among the cast. Directed by Francis Lawrence, the movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 20, 2026.
