JENNIE, the BLACKPINK superstar, has released a brand-new song titled "Someone to Hold" for Netflix's upcoming animated movie STEPS. Released on November 6, 2026, the track marks her first musical contribution to an animated film. The song celebrates sisterhood, emotional connections and the importance of supporting loved ones through difficult moments. Netflix also unveiled an animated music video featuring a unique animated version of JENNIE. The track accompanies a fresh retelling of Cinderella's story, focusing on her stepsisters Lilith and Margot rather than the traditional princess narrative. JENNIE's contribution is part of a soundtrack featuring original songs from Rose Gray, EMEI and Amanda Seyfried. The film's music combines energetic pop influences with an emotional orchestral score composed by Kris Bowers.

With its catchy melody, heartfelt message and connection to a major Netflix animation release, "Someone to Hold" introduces another exciting musical chapter in JENNIE's solo career.
