Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for Bad Day, an upcoming action comedy starring Cameron Diaz. The film follows Joy, a single mother determined to keep a small promise she made to her daughter, even when everything seems to go wrong. What begins as an ordinary day quickly turns into a chaotic adventure filled with unexpected obstacles and increasingly ridiculous situations. After her car gets towed and her bank card causes trouble, Joy finds herself caught up in a series of events that turn her into an accidental criminal. As the situation escalates, she appears to get involved in a bus hijacking while attracting the attention of law enforcement. The trailer combines physical comedy, action sequences, and heartfelt moments about the challenges of motherhood. Alongside Diaz, the movie features Danielle Brooks, Ed O'Neill, Rhenzy Feliz, Ben Schwartz, Mark Duplass, and Rob Corddry.
Directed by Jake Szymanski and written by Laura Solon, the film reunites Cameron Diaz with producer Beau Bauman following their collaboration on Back in Action. Bad Day promises an entertaining mix of family struggles, outrageous misunderstandings, and nonstop comedy. The movie is scheduled to premiere on December 11, 2026, exclusively on Netflix.
