Prime Video is bringing back its terrifying zombie universe with Apocalypse Z: New World, the highly anticipated sequel to Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End. The official trailer teases a dangerous new chapter filled with infected hordes, desperate survival missions, and difficult choices. Inspired by the books of Spanish author Manel Loureiro, the film expands the franchise with a larger story and a new group of survivors. Following the outbreak of the deadly TSJ virus, the Canary Islands have become Europe's last refuge from the infected. When a special team travels to the mainland to secure essential supplies, a newcomer named Roberto joins the mission with questionable intentions. Their journey quickly becomes a fight for survival as the group faces relentless infected enemies and growing distrust among its members. Director Carles Torrens returns to lead the sequel, with Carlos Alcaide, Julia Martínez, José María Yazpik, and Berta Vázquez among the cast. Fans can also look forward to the return of Lúculo, the memorable cat from the first film. Apocalypse Z: New World is scheduled to premiere exclusively on Prime Video worldwide on October 30, 2026, making it a timely choice for Halloween-season horror fans. Watch the official trailer to discover what awaits the survivors in this dangerous new world.
